SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING
Kimberly-Clark Professional ANZ is proud of Millicent Mill’s legacy of sustainability achievements such as the establishment of the $33 million cogeneration facility which helps make the mill more energy efficient whilst significantly reducing emissions.
WE IMPROVE WORKPLACES, RESPONSIBLY
We have implemented measures to help reduce our carbon footprint and diverting waste from landfills. We ensure human rights are respected in our facilities, as well as our global supply chain. We pilot product and packaging innovations that lessen our impact on the environment for generations to come.
Reducing Emissions
In 2021 our Scope 1 emissions fell below 100,000t of CO2e for the first time, with a total of 99,076t of CO2e.
Let nothing go to waste
In 2021, the Mill achieved 98.5% recycling efficency and we are proudly on track to achieve zero waste to landfill by the end of 2022.
Forests and Fibre
100% of the virgin fibre used locally in our tissue products comes from certified sustainable resources aand 70% of fibre used globally comes from recycled sources.
Environment Management
Our environmental management system comlies with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015* and our quality management system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015*.

Doing the right thing
We know that Better Care starts with us, our organisation and our people. We have a responsibility to operate with the highest level of ethical and sustainable conduct across our supply chain, within the communities we serve and as an employer of approximately 700 people across Australia and New Zealand.
Our reconciliation journey
In 2022, we completed our first RAP (reconciliation action plan). We commenced our reconciliation journey with the launch of our Reflect RAP and we proudly continue to address and reach the commitments we have made to create a kinder, more reconciled Australia. Find out more
